Net Protections Inc. (Headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Shin Shibata, “Net Protections”) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Bridge Motion Tomorrow Co., Ltd. (Headquartered in Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Shigehiro Shimamoto; "BMT"), who provide IoT solutions to hotels and more, to work as cashless payment and DX promotion partners in local communities. Net Protections is also happy to announce a comprehensive agency agreement with Bridge Motion Tomorrow effective from March 2022.
With the conclusion of the agreement between the two companies, Net Protections' "atone", a payment platform well-known for the user-friendliness and clarity, will become available on the mobile multi-payment terminal "Mr.Hunt01" provided by BMT. This alliance will make atone available at approximately 10,000 businesses nationwide in Japan equipped with Mr.Hunt01 terminals, including in shopping districts, taxis and more, across various regions and industries.
Overview of Partnership
Mr.Hunt01 by BMT is a mobile terminal that facilitates a range of cashless payments, including e-money, credit cards, and various code-based payments, all in one unit. This partnership will combine the expertise of both companies to work together to promote atone at businesses where Mt.Hunt01 is available, and to introduce Mr.Hunt01 at brick-and-mortar locations offering atone. To expand the use of atone in local communities, the two companies will also jointly implement proposals to local governments (prefectures and municipalities) and hold briefing sessions for businesses in each region to promote cashless payments that do not require credit cards and drive forward DX.
Going forward the companies will continue to envision potential ways of collaborating together in a strong partnership.
