(headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Katsumi Kuroiwa; “Avex Entertainment”), as “LivePocket Next Month Payment powered by atone” in November 2022.

*1. White label refers to products or services that are made by one company but rebranded and sold by another. Synonyms include Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM).

Background of the introduction

LivePocket-Ticket- had already introduced credit card and mobile carrier payments and prepayment at convenience stores as payment options. Prepayment at convenience stores and mobile carrier payments were used to accommodate those users who either did not have or did not want to use credit cards. However, because prepayment at convenience stores and mobile carrier payments result in a significant hassle when refunds must be issued due to event cancellations, and because event organizers using the service wanted same-day ticket sales to be handled more securely, the company was looking into introducing an additional payment best suited for digital ticket sales.

■Expected UX improvements from introducing atone

atone is a BNPL service optimized for smartphones and is highly suited to sales of e-commerce merchandise and digital content. Its features include the following:
① As a BNPL service that does not require credit cards, it helps prevent shopping cart abandonment
② It handles same-day ticket sales smoothly, up to right before the event starts
③ Customers make payments once a month and can select convenience store payment, ATM payment, direct debit, and other payment options according to their preference

All things considered, LivePocket-Ticket- decided to introduce atone and launch full-scale operations starting November.
