Background and purpose of the partnership
Kyushu Card is a group company of Nishi-Nippon Financial Holdings, Inc. and provides credit card services. It ranks first in transaction volume among regional bank-affiliated card companies (*1) and has garnered significant support, particularly in the Kyushu area.
J-Payment Service is a payment processing company jointly funded by Kyushu Card and NTT Data. It offers payment processing services that allow the use of credit cards, QR codes, and digital cash, enabling the consolidation of payments for both physical and online stores.
The Kyushu area, where Kyushu Card and J Payment Service have their main business,
is active in e-commerce, particularly in cosmetics and health products and there is growing demand in attracting customers to expand e-commerce channels nationwide. Additionally, with the promotion of startup companies centered around Fukuoka, the increasing amount of billing operations for growth-stage companies has become a challenge.
Through this partnership, Kyushu Card and J Payment Service will be able to offer Net Protections’ BNPL services (NP Atobarai, atone, NP Atobarai air and NP Kakebarai) to its merchants and business clients.
By implementing our BNPL services on their online stores, partner stores of Kyushu Card and J Payment Service can reach customers who prefer payment with BNPL services and ultimately increase their sales.
Additionally, by adopting our BNPL services, tasks such as credit screening, invoice creation and dispatch, payment collection/follow-ups in business transactions can be reduced, allowing businesses to focus more on their core activities and aim for business expansion.
