This move is designed to promote further introduction of its Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) services in the television shopping industry, which is a key market for such services.

Background Behind Strengthening of Organizational Structure

Annual sales in the Japanese television shopping market are estimated at around JPY 700 billion, and continued growth is expected*1. Net Protections’ BNPL service, NP Atobarai, has been adopted by industry leader Jupiter Shop Channel and is being used by many customers. This indicates a tremendous need for BNPL services in this market. Net Protections has identified the television shopping industry as a key industry for its marketing efforts and will strengthen its operational structure accordingly.

As a part of this move, Net Protections will further enhance cooperation with Tri-Stage, which has provided support to television shopping business operators for more than 15 years, to promote further adoption of its BNPL services in the television shopping industry.
