Reason for Implementation

 The ANAP Online Shop already offered other BNPL services, but in response to the increasing demands for BNPL services, the company sought to further improve the user experience by introducing a more convenient one. atone’s interface is optimized for smartphones and features functions such as immediate disclosure of credit results to users on screen, contributing to an enhanced user experience. In addition, ANAP decided to introduce atone because of the low burden it imposes on business operators when introducing and operating it, its backup system, and the ability to utilize atone’s membership base of over 6 million people to run promotional campaigns and  bring in new customers.

1. Customers can choose between BNPL per purchase and next-month payment.
atone offers two payment options, BNPL per purchase, which allows users to pay at the time of purchase, or next-month payment, which allows users to pay in the following month. Customers can choose their payment timing that is most convenient for them.

2. The only BNPL service in Japan with reward points program
 By shopping with atone, customers earn points based on their shopping amount,  which can be used for discounts when making the next purchase.

3. Diverse payment methods
 Customers can select convenience store payment, wire-transfer, direct debit, LINE Pay, and other payment options according to their own preference.

4. User-friendly service suited for smartphone users
 atone is a payment system designed primarily for smartphones. It features a modal display that does not require transitioning from the current page to another, and once the user registers their basic information for the first time, they can make subsequent payments simply by their login information.

1. No service fees for a limited time
 During the campaign period, the service fee of 350 yen will be waived for users making a first-time purchase on the ANAP Online Shop using atone BNPL per purchase.
